Glamz!
I’m totally obsessed with “thrifting” and vintage clothing! Yup! To the point that I’m making it a permanent staple in my wardrobe. I picked up this super rich red, blue, yellow, and orange, floral, pleated, midi-length dress from Goodwill. Now follow me, one of my favorite trends right now is the hi and low hem on everything—tops, jackets, skirts, dresses. I have no problem with altering anything I wear, I like to put my stamp on it. So I took my dress to my lovely seamstress, my Mama. We determined the length of the hem, she traced and cut a half moon, and then sewed the hem. Just make sure your hem is smooth so the transition from hi to lo flows. It was a pretty simple alteration!
Voila! I’ve got a vintage dress with a modern flare all for $6. My belt and shoe color options are endless because this dress has so many colors in it already. Here’s one way I can wear it!
Sorry about the poor picture quality, hopefully, you’ll get the idea!
